Stavros Papadopoulos, Founder and CEO of TileDB, Inc
Dr. Stavros Papadopoulos prior to founding TileDB, Inc. in February 2017, Dr. Papadopoulos was a Senior Research Scientist at the Intel Parallel Computing Lab, and a member of the Intel Science and Technology Center for Big Data at MIT CSAIL for three years. He also spent about two years as a Visiting Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). Dr. Papadopoulos received his PhD degree in Computer Science at HKUST and held a postdoc fellow position at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. |

Evanthia Tapiri, Data Scientist at Corporate Finance, Amazon
Evanthia Tapiri is a Data Scientist at Corporate Finance, Amazon where she is working primarily on demand planning, sales forecasting and utilizing machine learning techniques to automate the financial forecasting process. Before joining Amazon, she was a Data Scientist for Liberty Mutual Insurance developing Machine Learning models for dynamic pricing and specializing on explainable AI methods and visualizations. Evanthia is passionate about using data for social good and supporting women in technology. She holds a Master’s degree in Financial Statistics and Risk Management from Rutgers University and a Bachelors in Applied Mathematics and Physics from National Technical University of Athens. |

Lucile Kellis
Lucile Kellis is an expert in survey research and discrete choice modelling with over 10 years’ experience in transportation travel demand forecasting. Lucile joined Steer in 2009 from the former transportation practice Charles River Associates. Her experience includes the analysis of econometric models for use in large-scale mergers and litigation cases. Prior to joining Steer, Lucile obtained an MS in Transportation from MIT and worked as a research assistant with the East Japan Railway Company operating the Shinkansen HSR trains. She also interned in the Office of Economics and Strategic Analysis with the US Department of Transportation. Lucile leads Steer’s stated preference survey capability in North America. She manages a range of high-profile transportation projects requiring rigorous application of econometrics skills. She also leads the survey effort of investment grades toll roads and managed lanes projects for both the public and private sectors. |
